Stephanie Azri is a Clinical and Genetic Social Worker with a Dip Ed, BHumSer, BSW, MHst, Cert IV TAA. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Her interests are women's health issues, grief and loss and mental health. She has undertaken research in the area of fetal diagnosis and its impact on families and she is the author of "High Risk Pregnancy and Foetal Diagnosis; your journey" by FAB, 2006.
She runs a support group (PDS AUSTRALIA) for families who have or are expecting babies with a poor or long term prognosis. The support group offers email support, access to resources and information, others' stories and journals as well as a discussion board and chat room. Visit the prenatal diagnosis support group here.
